Sean Campbell is the creator of Piano Tab, a patented visual notation system that transforms traditional sheet music into a clear, intuitive language anyone can understand.
A New Movement in Education
After years of teaching students who struggled with the complexities of traditional sheet music, Sean developed Piano Tab to remove the single biggest barrier to playing: the notation itself. The result is a system that allows beginners to start playing real music quickly, without years of technical study or the frustration of learning to read a standard music staff.
The Mission
As the founder of Music Lyceum in Santa Monica, Sean has helped students of all ages discover that playing piano can be fast, accessible, and deeply enjoyable. His mission is to restore music as a natural human ability rather than a skill reserved only for the traditionally trained.
Through TabForPiano, Sean is leading a new movement in music education that prioritizes clarity, creativity, and immediate musical experience.
